Althoughthemonster'srootsaredefinedasJurassic,it'sclearhe'sreallymouldedfromradioactivedust,likesomeColdWarGolem. WhentheradioactivegiantlizardemergesfromTokyoBay,hisnightlyraidsonthecityleavepanic,decimationanddeathintheirfierywake,echoingexperiencesoflessthanadecadeearlier.
