MegaByte is a monthly night of dirty 8 bit music, chiptunes, video game soundtracks, nerd rave and OCRemixes, with a smattering of nerdcore, geek rock, anime themes, J-pop and much more – all aimed squarely at the dancefloor – plus video game consoles for retro gaming action.
The next night will take place on Friday 21 September 2012 from 9:00pm until 3:00am at Retro Bar in Manchester. In addition to sets by the resident DJs, this month is an 'open mic' night, where local musicians can sign up to play their own chiptune and micromusic related sets. Visuals by NanimeW.
Entry costs GBP 3.00 on the door before 11:00pm and GBP 4.00 after.
