Japan Society North West (JSNW) present a talk by author Lesley Downer entitled 'The New Japan and the Last Samurai', about the Westernisation of Japanese culture in the 19th Century.
The talk will take place at the Quaker Meeting House in Liverpool on Saturday 29 September 2012 from 2:00pm.
Cost of admission:
Admission includes a voucher redeemable against the purchase of any Lesley Downer book at a signing taking place at Waterstones Liverpool One after the talk.
