The Waving Cat of Japan play performances in the North-West of England

23 to 25 May 2013

The Krazy Kat Theatre Company presents The Waving Cat of Japan, a spectacular, traditional Japanese bunraku puppet-style theatrical fantasy. Maneki Neko, 'the waving cat', is the Japanese cat-shaped figuirine that is said to bring good luck. A tropical storm, a wicked sorceress, a not-so-smart prince and three tricky tasks to perform before midnight? Yikes! Luckily, Maneki Neko is on hand, or paw, to try to help... With puppets, quick changes, deft dances and loads of jokes, this fast-moving show lasts 55 minutes and is suitable for ages 3 to 7, their families and friends.
