Changes to NanimeW
12 April 2011
A number of changes have been made to NanimeW today, to replace out-of-date services with new ones to help achieve our mission of bringing together fans of Japanese animation, graphic art and pop culture in the North-West of England:
- A forum has been added to the website, to enable fans of Japanese culture in the region to connect with each other and discuss their interests.
This replaces the Google Groups hosted NanimeW discussion list, which will no longer be maintained.
- Membership of NanimeW is now provided by being registered on the new forum.
The member profiles section has been removed from the website and existing NanimeW members are encouraged to register on the forum and create a new, up-to-date profile there, which will be shared with other registered members.
- NanimeW now has accounts on Twitter and Facebook, to enable you to keep up-to-date with the news and events that are posted on the NanimeW website and easily share them with other people.
Updates are also available via the forum, mailing list and RSS feed.
- The gallery and downloads sections have been removed from the website, as they were no longer being used.
If you have any comments about these changes or would like to suggest further improvements to NanimeW, please get in contact via any of the channels mentioned above, or e-mail <Info@NanimeW.Org.UK>.
NanimeW members can discuss this notice on the NanimeW forum.
